SHOW S

We all love a good tip from time to time, so I have created a list of  the top ten  fashion tips according to InStyle to help you save money and look FAB.

  1.  SHOW SKIN STRATEGICALLY

Looking truly sexy involves knowing what to bare and what to keep under wraps. Looking sexy does not have to look vulgar. You can still appear alluring by choosing one and only one body part and show it off. If it’s cleavage, don’t show your legs. If it’s your legs, stay covered on top. Simple!

2 ACCESSORISE IN BRIGHTS

Brighten up a closet full of neutrals and add energy with boldly hued shoes and bags. Not only is a bright orange tote more lively than ho-hum black, but it’s also surprisingly versatile. Try wearing a neutral base with shoes and a bag in two different complementary colors.

3 THINK IN MULTIPLES

Take a cue from Jackie O, who had a closet full of sheath dresses. If you find an especially flattering fit right off the rack, go ahead and buy doubles. When it works, why question it?

4 EMBRACE YOUR SHAPE

“It is vital that and you know which silhouettes flatter you and accentuate your shape . For instance, if you’re petite and shapely, it’s best to avoid tall columns and billowy maxis even if you love them. Go for a dress with a defined waist and just above the  knee hem.

5 BE PREPARED

If you’re shopping for that ultra important dress, get a true feel for the fit by bringing your shapewear with you. It’s also a  good idea to bring the shoes and accessories that go with it . These will help you get a better sense of the final result.

6 OPEN YOUR MIND

Always take one “it’s fun but so not me” thing into the fitting room. You never know, you might just love it!

7  WHEN IN DOUBT, GO NUDE

I love colour with colour but a nude shoe will go with every coloured dress in your wardrobe, including black and they will make your legs look longer too.

8 Alterations are necessary

Let’s face it, finding a great fit can be a huge challenge! If your  garments need tweaking, such as hemlines or shoulder straps, make friends with a tailor so that your clothes fit you well and flatter your shape.

9 Spend 30% of your budget on accessories

Accessories maybe the smallest part of your wardrobe but they can pack a big punch, often creating the distinction between being just dressed or a spectacular appearance.

10 Team lose with tight

Avoid wearing tight with tight and lose with lose as only a few can do that head to toe.
