Learn more about theLifehouse Project
The aim of Lifehouse Project is to provide a practical response to a need in our community. The organisation exists to assist young people aged 12 – 25 years gain life skills, parenting skills, housing and employment through the provision of housing, programs, mentoring and grants.
Lifehouse Project’s primary target group is young parents who are pregnant or parenting. We recognise how lonely and scary being young and homeless can be, especially if you have children. Lifehouse aims to alleviate some of the stress by providing an appropriate support system that involves financial, practical, mentoring and life skill support.
We also work with teenage girls with the aim of increasing their life skills, resilience and wellbeing. Our programs and events aim is to reduce teenage pregnancy, youth homelessness and youth suicide.
